None of the 31 other NFL teams chose to claim the former Parramatta Eels star.
Ex-rugby league MVP Jarryd Hayne is now an NFL free agent, just days after he was unceremoniously cut from the 49er's squad.
Following his dismissal from the San Francisco lineup, none of the other 31 NFL teams chose to approach Hayne for a spot on their roster.
Now, the door has been opened for Hayne to be re-signed by the 49ers, and it's a likely possibility following injuries to key runnings backs and punt returners Reggie Bush, Carlos Hyde, and Mike Davis.
Well, we can’t all be Makybe Diva.
We want to know how you stay on track — without sacrificing your body and/or sanity.
So you decided to sign up for a race and you are PUMPED AF.
But then a few weeks into training your body is incredibly unhappy with you and you're exhausted from trying to somehow balance your life with your training schedule.
This shit is no joke, people.

If you’re lucky, you may even see a horse.
So Tuesday was the Melbourne Cup, the biggest day on Australia's social calendar.
The Cup was won by a female jockey for the first time, with the help of her brother Stevie. It's a really nice story.

Is there anything this woman can’t do?!
Tennis goddess Serena Williams basically wrote the book on how to slay as an athlete. On Tuesday night she added yet another stunning skill to her resume: superhero.
If you think about it, this would actually explain a lot.

A random guy walked up to her at a Chinese restaurant and the two start chatting, she says, "like we have not seen each other in years."
After a few minutes of conversation, Williams notices her cell phone on the chair next to her, and that the guy was lingering. "Is he a customer?" she thought. "Is he waiting on the bathroom?"
Then all of a sudden, random chatty dude snatched her phone and split.
Williams's immediate reaction, surely.
"Not thinking I reacted...I jumped up, weaved my way in and out of the cozy restaurant (leaping over a chair or two) and chased him down," the 21-time Grand Slam champion recalled. "He began to run but I was too fast. (Those sprints came in handy) I was upon him in a flash!"
Once she caught up to the petty theft perp, Williams did the unthinkable and gave the guy a cop out. She asked if he "accidentally" took her phone. He said he had, and left.

A high school football player died Tuesday in Sharon Springs, Kansas, just after scoring a touchdown in a playoff game.
Luke Schemm, a 17-year-old senior at Wallace County High School, was airlifted to a hospital in Denver, Colorado, after collapsing on the field. Schemm is a multi-sport athlete plays basketball and fullback and middle linebacker for the football team, according to MaxPreps.com.
On Facebook, Schemm's father, David, posted that his son died after he "suffered trauma to the brain, causing it to swell an shut off blood flow to the brain."
"Thank you to everyone for your prayers an reaching out to [us]," he added. "Please continue to reach out to us, it is going to be a very difficult time for us, an we will only be able to make it thru with the help of God, family, friends, an community."
In an email, a spokesman for the Kansas State High School Athletics Association told BuzzFeed News they were not authorized to answer whether or not Schemm took any hits to the head during the game. The same spokesman earlier told Wichita-based KAKE News that "officials didn't see Schemm sustain any head contact during the game."
Meanwhile, in Ohio on Monday night, a nine-year-old football player died during a non-contact practice. Wyatt Barber collapsed on the field, and died shortly after at a nearby emergency room. A cause of death has not yet been determined.
Consistent numbers of high school football deaths are difficult to determine, due to distinction between injuries directly related to football — such as an injury immediately caused by a hit — and non-direct injuries like brain swelling after the game or heat stroke during summer practices.
In 2014, there were "six fatalities directly related to football," and ten from "indirect" causes. Five players died from cardiac issues.
“Bodybuilding is in my blood.”
Collin Clarke is a 22-year-old front desk worker at Bob's Gym in North Evansville, Indiana. Clarke has Down syndrome and is about to make one of his dreams come true by competing in his first official bodybuilding competition.

Clarke's journey started a little over a year ago when he struck up a friendship with bodybuilder and personal trainer Glenn Ubelhor. Ubelhor, who also works at Bob's Gym North, said that Clarke's passion began as simple curiosity.
Ubelhor told Buzzfeed News that in between his training sessions he would practice bodybuilding poses for his upcoming competitions. What he didn't know was that Clarke was watching and would emulate the poses himself once Ubelhor was done.
The two started a friendship based on their mutual passion for bodybuilding, and Ubelhor started training Clarke. Over the course of a year, Clarke dedicated himself to training and decided he would compete in a bodybuilding competition.

WNBA President Laurel Richie is departing after five seasons, the league announced Wednesday. Her last day will be Nov. 9.
Richie is leaving "to pursue her other interests serving as a board member of several for-profit and not-for-profit institutions and continuing to be an advocate for girls and young women," according to a statement.
The league will begin searching for a new president immediately, with NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum standing in for the interim.
The WNBA's 19th season finished in mid-October, when the Minnesota Lynx beat the Indiana Fever in the finals. The 2016 season will begin in June.
During the current offseason, the Tulsa Shock will also relocate to Dallas-Fort Worth and become the Dallas Wings.
During Richie's reign, orchestrating league-wide initiatives, such as WNBA Pride and Hoops For Troops, was a priority.
Richie was a longtime executive with the Girl Scouts of the USA and worked in top advertising agencies before joining the WNBA in 2011.
In a statement, Richie said she is “proud of what the WNBA has been able to accomplish during my tenure and am grateful for the opportunity to play my part in setting the stage for the 20th season and beyond.”
"I was fortunate to work with some very special people, from owners, to league and team staff, to the passionate fans of the WNBA, to the incredibly talented WNBA athletes," she continued. "I will forever be a fan of theWNBA and a champion for all it stands for."

The NFL will still hold the Super Bowl in Houston, Texas, even though voters repealed the city's LGBT nondiscrimination law Tuesday night — a vote that some warned would spur boycotts of the city that would limit business and prompt the NFL to withdraw the 2017 championship game.
However, NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told BuzzFeed News in a statement Wednesday, "this will not affect our plans for Super Bowl LI in 2017."
"We will work closely with the Houston Super Bowl Host Committee to make sure all fans feel welcomed at our events," he said. "Our policies emphasize tolerance and inclusiveness, and prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard."
The host committee referred questions to the NFL.
A Change.org petition Wednesday called on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to revoke the Houston game, and many people on social media were calling for boycotts of the city. Mayor Annise Parker spoke in general terms about fearing a "direct economic backlash" to the vote.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Human Rights Campaign — the largest LGBT group in the U.S. and a prominent funder of a failed campaign to uphold the nondiscrimination law — pressed Goodell for an "emergency meeting."
The group's executive director, Chad Griffin, wrote in a letter that he wanted to convene advocacy organizations and league official to discuss "the urgent need for a nondiscrimination ordinance in this city that will ensure the thousands of employees, contractors and attendees at this event will be fully protected under the law."
"Commissioner Goodell," the plea said, "you have emphasized the NFL's commitment to diversity and inclusion, respect and fairness. Out of that commitment we hope you will work with us to find a path forward in Houston."
McCarthy said the NFL "will respond to the letter accordingly," but did not elaborate.
On Wednesday evening, Dan Gavitt, NCAA vice president of men’s basketball championships, released a statement regarding the NCAA hosting Final Four tournaments in Houston in the future:
The NCAA remains committed to hosting the Final Four and its many fan-related events in Houston so they are open and accessible for all. The NCAA has no plans to move the 2016 Final Four, as it takes years to plan and implement this world-class event. We will continue our work with the Houston Local Organizing Committee to provide an inclusive environment for the student-athletes competing in and visitors attending our games and events in April. This vote, however, could impact the NCAA returning to Houston for a future Final Four. There are many factors in a thorough bid process that the NCAA considers when determining what cities will host the Final Four, including but not limited to local, city and state laws and ordinances.
In a crushing defeat for LGBT advocates, Houston voters repealed the city's nondiscrimination ordinance in a 61% to 39% vote. Known as HERO, the Houston Equal Rights Ordinance protected 15 classes of people, including gays, lesbians, transgender people, people of color, and people of faith.
Critics had claimed the law would allow male sex predators to prowl women's restrooms — a claim that law enforcement officials said was baseless.
Bob McNair, owner of the Houston Texans, had given the repeal campaign $10,000 but withdrew the sum after a public outcry and the campaign used his name to promote the group's message.

The Real Madrid striker is now under the “judicial supervision” of French police.
French football star Karim Benzema has been charged as part of the investigation over an alleged plot to blackmail a fellow French international.
Benzema, the 27-year-old Real Madrid striker, has been placed under formal investigation and has appeared before a judge in the French city of Versailles.
Police are investigating the alleged blackmail of France and Lyon midfielder Mathieu Valbuena, who was a team-mate of Benzema's during the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Investigators are trying to determine if Benzema was involved with an alleged attempt to blackmail Valbuena over possession of a sex tape.

Chicago Blackhawks player Patrick Kane will not face rape charges, prosecutors announced Thursday.
The announcement comes after a three-month investigation into the NHL player. Last week, Kane’s accuser told prosecutors she no longer wants to pursue a criminal case against him.
The woman accused Kane of sexually assaulting her inside his house after a night at the SkyBar club near his home in Buffalo in August.
“After fully discussing all the circumstances with my attorney, I have decided I do not wish to criminally prosecute the charges which stem out of this investigation,” the accuser stated in a Non-Prosecution Affidavit. “I do so of my own free will and without any promises or compensation.”
According to a statement released by the Eerie County District Attorney, the case is “rife with reasonable doubt,” including inconsistencies between the complainant’s accounts and those of witnesses.
In addition, DNA test results do not support the complainant’s claim of penetration, according to the DA.
The investigation took a bizarre turn last month after an apparent hoax involving a paper bag – touted as the accuser’s rape kit – that was left on the woman’s mother’s doorstep.
The DNA collected from the woman did not belong to Kane, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Despite the investigation, Kane has started the season with the Blackhawks.
